NIT Agartala Extends 18th Convocation Registration Deadline to January 11

The National Institute of Technology Agartala has extended the deadline for online registration in the Management Information System for its 18th convocation. The new closing date is January 11, 2026, as per an official notice issued by the institute.

The notice, dated January 4, 2026, references a prior communication on the matter. It informs all relevant parties that the extension applies to the registration process related to the convocation event.

Copies of the notice were distributed to key officials, including the director’s personal secretary, the person-in-charge of the convocation, all deans, professors, heads of departments, associate deans for academics and examinations, the chief warden, undergraduate and postgraduate coordinators, departmental alumni coordinators, deputy registrar for academics, assistant registrars for academics and finance, the faculty-in-charge of the Management Information System, and the system administrator.

The system administrator has been requested to upload the notice on the institute’s website. The directive emphasizes the need for degree recipients to complete registration within the extended period.

This extension provides additional time for eligible individuals to fulfill administrative requirements ahead of the convocation ceremony.

The measure ensures broader participation and compliance in the institute’s academic proceedings.

Degree recipients are urged to register promptly through the Management Information System to avoid any delays.
