NIT Agartala Revises Schedule for Makeup and Supplementary Examinations

National Institute of Technology Agartala has released an updated schedule for the review of answer scripts, makeup examinations, and supplementary tests for the winter session of 2026. The revised timelines apply to undergraduate, postgraduate, dual degree, and integrated BSc–BEd programmes and have been issued in line with the academic calendar and earlier notifications.
According to the notice, which refers to a previous communication dated November 3, 2025, several deadlines related to examination processes have been adjusted. The circulation of the list of registered students for review of marks from the end-term odd semester 2025, makeup examinations from the same semester, supplementary winter 2026, supplementary laboratory courses for the even semester 2026, and parallel courses for the even semester 2026 has been rescheduled from December 30, 2025, to within January 6, 2026.
For supplementary examinations in winter 2026 meant for pending graduating students connected with the 18th convocation, the examination window has been revised from January 2–9, 2026, to within January 9, 2026. The deadline for submission of marks in this category remains January 13, 2026, while the meeting of the results review and evaluation committee and the publication of results will continue as scheduled on January 14, 2026.
In the case of intermediate-year students, supplementary examinations originally planned between January 2 and 9, 2026, have now been deferred to within February 3, 2026. For first-year students, the supplementary examination period has been shifted to January 27 to February 3, 2026.
The last date for submission of marks covering the review of marks for end-term odd semester 2025, makeup examinations from the same semester, and supplementary winter 2026 has been extended from January 13, 2026, to February 5, 2026. Correspondingly, the results review and evaluation committee meeting for first-year and intermediate-year students has been moved from January 14, 2026, to February 9, 2026, with the publication of results now scheduled for February 10, 2026.
The notice has been circulated to the director’s personal secretary, heads of departments, the chief warden for hostel dissemination, the in-charge of the Management Information System, the system administrator for website upload, and relevant records.
The revised schedule is intended to streamline academic administration and provide adequate time for examination-related processes, particularly for students approaching graduation or progressing to the next academic stage. Students have been advised to carefully review the updated dates and coordinate with their respective departments.
