Odd Semester Re-Examinations Scheduled at NIT Mizoram in January 2026

National Institute of Technology Mizoram has released an official notification detailing the procedure for odd semester re-examinations for the 2025–26 academic year. The re-examinations are scheduled to be conducted from January 5 to January 9, 2026.

As per the notification, eligible students must complete course registration and fee payment between December 29, 2025, and January 1, 2026, up to 6:00 p.m. The notice, dated December 29, 2025, carries the reference number NITMZ/EXAM-CELL/2025/08.

Students are required to complete the course registration process through their individual ERP login portals after paying the prescribed fees. A printed copy of the course registration report must be brought to the examination venue. Failure to produce this document will result in disqualification from appearing in the re-examination.

The notification further states that the question papers will carry a total of 80 marks and will not include any optional questions.

The directive has been issued by the Faculty-in-Charge, Examination Cell. Copies of the notification have been forwarded to the Dean (Academics), Heads of all Departments for internal circulation, and the institute’s ERP Coordinator and Website In-Charge for uploading on official platforms.

The re-examination process is intended to support academic recovery for students enrolled in engineering and related programs. Students are advised to regularly check the institute’s website and ERP portal and ensure compliance with all instructions within the stipulated timelines.
