NIT Arunachal Pradesh Announces Walk-in Interview for Guest Faculty in Electrical Engineering

The National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh has invited applications for the temporary position of Guest Faculty in the Department of Electrical Engineering for the academic session January to June 2026. A walk-in interview is scheduled for January 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Director’s Conference Room at the institute’s campus in Jote.

The role requires a PhD in Electrical Engineering, with specialization in Power System Engineering or Power Electronics. Remuneration for PhD holders is 1,500 rupees per class, subject to a monthly maximum of 60,000 rupees. Candidates without a PhD will receive 1,000 rupees per class, with a monthly ceiling of 40,000 rupees. Laboratory or tutorial classes of two contact hours are treated as one contact hour for remuneration calculation.

Candidates must appear in person with their bio-data or curriculum vitae specifying qualifications, specialization, and any teaching experience, accompanied by original supporting documents. Advance submission of bio-data to the department is optional. No travel or daily allowances will be provided, and no separate call letters will be sent.

The position is purely temporary and restricted to the January–June 2026 session. Individuals in full-time employment elsewhere are ineligible. The competent authority’s decision will be final.
