NIT Meghalaya Releases Candidate Lists for Non-Teaching Recruitment

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya has published the lists of provisionally eligible and ineligible candidates for various non-teaching positions, as part of its ongoing recruitment process initiated in August 2025.
The recruitment was advertised under notification NITMGH/ES/REC/N-F/Vol.IX/2025-26/1034, dated August 27, 2025. The institute has also opened a grievance window, allowing candidates to submit objections or clarifications via email until 5:00 p.m. on December 26, 2025.
Selection Process
The selection process comprises two stages. The first stage is a skill test, in which candidates must secure a minimum of 40 percent marks to qualify for the second stage. The second stage consists of a written test or interview, depending on the post applied for.
In the written examination, each correct answer carries one mark, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect response. Unattempted questions carry no penalty. In the event of a tie, the percentage of marks obtained in Class X will be used as the tie-breaking criterion.
Examination Venue and Verification
All skill tests, written tests, and interviews will be conducted at the institute’s permanent campus at Saitsohpen, Sohra (Cherrapunji), East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya – 793108.
Provisionally eligible candidates are required to produce original certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, and applicable medical certificates for verification. Candidates must also carry a duly filled admit card, downloadable in the prescribed format, along with a valid government-issued photo identity proof.
Any discrepancy, deficiency, or detection of forged documents at any stage will result in immediate cancellation of candidature and forfeiture of the application.
