Gurucharan University Invites Contractual Teaching Assistants

Gurucharan University has invited applications for the engagement of Contractual Teachers (Teaching Assistants) on a temporary basis across ten academic departments, according to an official advertisement issued on January 13, 2026.
The recruitment, notified under Reference No. 102/23/2025/I/421, is open to candidates with or without UGC-mandated qualifications. Applications must be submitted within a seven-day window, with the deadline set for January 20, 2026.
The vacancies span the departments of Botany, Commerce, Hindi, Mass Communication, Persian, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Sanskrit, and Zoology. While candidates holding NET, SLET, or Ph.D. in the relevant subject will be given preference, the university has clarified that applicants without UGC qualifications may also be considered, particularly for teaching at the Higher Secondary level.
Applications are to be submitted via email to [email protected], strictly in the prescribed format provided in the advertisement. The application must include detailed academic information (Annexure A), teaching experience, and self-attested copies of supporting documents such as the HSLC admit card for age proof and category certificates, wherever applicable. The university has stated that the salary will be negotiable.
Officials have cautioned that incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
The temporary appointments are aimed at addressing immediate teaching requirements and ensuring academic continuity across departments while regular recruitment processes remain underway.
