NIT Arunachal Pradesh Conducts Walk-in Interview for Guest Faculty in Computer Science and Engineering

The National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh has scheduled a walk-in interview for the temporary position of Guest Faculty in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for the academic session January to June 2026. The interview is set for January 12, 2026 (Monday), at 11:00 a.m. in the CSE Conference Room at the institute’s campus in Jote.

Eligible candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communication Engineering, or be pursuing a PhD in these fields. Desired specializations include Machine Learning, Computer Networking, and VLSI/Embedded Systems.

Remuneration for PhD holders is 1,500 rupees per class, with a monthly maximum of 60,000 rupees. For non-PhD candidates, including those pursuing PhD, the rate is 1,000 rupees per class, capped at 40,000 rupees per month. Laboratory or tutorial classes of two contact hours duration are counted as one contact hour for remuneration purposes.

Candidates are required to appear in person with their bio-data or curriculum vitae detailing qualifications, specialization, and any teaching experience, along with original supporting documents. Advance submission of bio-data to the department is permitted. No travel or daily allowances will be provided, and no separate interview call letters will be issued.

The engagement is purely temporary and limited to the January–June 2026 session. Persons currently in full-time employment with any organization are ineligible. The decision of the competent authority will be final.
