Supplementary Exam Registration Opens at NIT Nagaland for January 2026

National Institute of Technology Nagaland has issued a circular announcing the opening of online registration for end semester supplementary examinations scheduled for January 2026.

The circular, dated December 17, 2025, bears the reference number 997 / Dean (Acad) / 12-03/ 085/2025 and applies to selected undergraduate and postgraduate students.

As per the notification, registration is open to B.Tech students of the 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters, along with M.Sc students in Physics and Chemistry of the 3rd semester.

The online registration process commenced on January 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and will remain open until January 9, 2026. Students are required to complete the process using the Microsoft Form provided by the institute.

The circular clearly states that students with attendance shortages in the current semester are not eligible to appear for the supplementary examinations. Additionally, students involved in malpractice during the current semester are also barred from registering.

The notification has been issued from the Office of the Dean (Academics). The supplementary examination registration aims to help eligible students address academic backlogs while ensuring adherence to institutional academic standards.

Students meeting the eligibility criteria are advised to complete the registration within the stipulated timeframe through the designated online form.
