The Rupa Rahul Bajaj Scholarship for Women in Engineering, a corporate social responsibility initiative of Bajaj Auto Limited, offers financial and professional support to meritorious female students entering select engineering institutions for the 2025–26 academic session.
The scholarship is designed to encourage greater participation of women in manufacturing and core engineering disciplines, addressing financial barriers that often lead to academic discontinuation. In addition to monetary assistance, the programme focuses on long-term career development, leadership building, and industry readiness.
The initiative extends beyond funding by providing mentorship, industry exposure, professional networking, and skill-building opportunities, enabling recipients to align academic learning with real-world engineering and manufacturing practices.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is open to female students who have secured admission through competitive examinations to one of the top 40 engineering institutions. Applicants must have scored a minimum of 75 percent in Class XII and be enrolled in core engineering branches such as mechanical, electrical, electronics and communication, industrial or production engineering, automobile, mechatronics, instrumentation, material sciences, or metallurgy.
Financial and Professional Benefits
Selected candidates are eligible for financial assistance of up to ₹8 lakh to cover educational expenses. In addition, scholars gain access to life-skills training, professional development sessions, exposure to emerging technologies, and manufacturing environments. The programme also facilitates entry into a peer and alumni network for continued guidance and collaboration.

Applicants must complete online registration on the designated platform, upload required documents, review their submission, and finalize the application. Mandatory documents include:
- Passport-size photograph
- Identity proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, or PAN)
- Address proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, utility bill, ration card, or domicile certificate)
- Class X and XII marksheets
- Engineering institute admission letter
- JEE or equivalent entrance examination rank card
